  Perception

Our perception of the universe relies on our inborn nature and acquired experience in relation with our notion of time.
That is why the positioning of the photographer is so important; her/his geographical, physical, political, cultural and philosophical positioning.
And the resulting perception of the image may converge or strongly diverge in the audience.
In a society that crucially misses a link with the nature, land-art artists such as Andy Goldsworthy find their place by implementing gravitational balances and the harmonization of colors and shapes of the existing nature; while Giuseppe Penone shows us the temporal continuum of the trees and Bob Verschueren integrates architecture and nature.
Each one, each way of sharing a point of view leads us to the perception of a different world.
